A company with 30+ employees, got signs from the organization that leadership was unclear and not supporting the development of individuals. People surveys showed that satisfaction in general was high, but that leadership was the area with the largest improvement potential.

The understanding of the need for strategic alignment as well as for leadership development strongly differed among top management. Furthermore, there were discrepancies in the understanding of the strategic agenda 3 years+. A few major questions caused insecurity for part of the team members. Time for internal discussions was scarce as customers and operations were prioritized.

People Horizon interviewed all leadership team members, identifying common and individual questions and development needs.
The program that People Horizon delivered encompassed some core elements: Understanding of individual drivers’ effect on team effectiveness and efficiency, effective communication, conflict resolution, alignment on the future strategic path.

During the the program, the effects of personal drivers on the strategic agenda, on future ambitions, and on collaboration climate were enlightened.
The understanding of self and others improved dramatically which allowed for an honest and in-depth dialogue around the future of the company. Hurdles and enablers were put to light. Through insights, tools and capabilities gained during the program, the team independently continued their development journey.
