It is important to understand where an organization with its employees come from. What are the acquired learnings, experiences etc. By knowing the past, it is easier to point out a fast trajectory to the future.

Managers with a growth mindset impact their organizations in a positive way

They bring psychological safety to the organization allowing the team to develop without fear. Managers with a “fixed mindset” have an even stronger, though negative,  impact and contribute to an unsecure and unhealthy environment. 

Prejudice hinders development

By pretending to know a whole category of people based on hearing or a single experience, the risk is overwhelming that actual competences and potential are not being brought to light. Over the years, we have heard statements like “IT-people don’t want to learn new technologies”, “women are not suited for executive positions”, “people over 50 cannot change”, “people under 30 only think of themselves”. We acknowledge that we, as everyone else. have prejudice and that is why we challenge each other and our clients to see beyond them.

People want to contribute and develop when they understand the purpose

People need to share the purpose, understand why and what will be required of them in the future, understand what the alternatives of not developing are. Having that, most people find the willingness to develop.

A holistic perspective is important in the development of society

Organizations that consider consequences from multiple perspectives, and genuinely from a people perspective, are more likely to be successful. They increase their attractiveness to customers and employees.
