People strategy and business case
After a long period of expansion, through organic growth and M&As, a company with 1000+ employees faced difficulties in finding the right competencies to deliver on a major client engagement.
The financial situation changed and the business entered a consolidation phase. The demand for tech competencies was high and unfortunately the turnover among employees with critical competencies was also high.
People Horizon facilitated a series of sessions with the CHRO to develop the People Strategy as an enabler of the business strategy. External and internal aspects were considered and validated. Important organizational decisions and statements were translated into strategic decision aspects and to financial figures. A high-level action plan was developed, targeting the key internal and external development areas.
The business case showed a potential of 10+ MEUR. The CHRO worked with the Executive Management Team on the strategy and the business case for them to take full ownership. Establishing a proactive workforce planning process was one of the key outcomes.
